Rich, are you one of those guys that can't be fooled during the holidays or birthdays? Can you pick it up, shake it, and then tell what's inside like Johnny Carson used to do? Haha.

Nice sleuthing my friend. Let's see what happens on Dec 22 now.

Doug, Sven,

I spent about 30 mins this morning looking at the Veeam web site and reading the recent press releases. I was actually surprised how the clues from the "wrapped image clues" matched the publicly viewable info already there. I'm sure anyone who took the time to look at little closer would have come to a similar conclusion

Tom, Tony,

As of this reply I have not watched the demo, nor have I used the tool yet myself. Thanks for the extra client / server application info. I was not aware of the application tiers.

Wouldn't it be great if the Veeam just gave away the entire Monitor 3.0 tool since nworks Connector is a described as a complimentary tool?

Well, original Veeam Monitor is client-server: I hope Veeam keeps the architecture in the free tool. We will know this soon enough!

Yes, my guess after reading veeam's site is that this will likely be the client-only version, not the full version, which is licensed on an annual basis, which makes it too expensive for many SMBs...so we have to download it, try it, and see what we don't get with the client-only version...

Meanwhile, thank you for figuring it out!!

My guess is you figured it out by watching the demo that Veeam offers, then compared what you saw on the demo with what is shown in the 'wrapping paper' image.

Thank you, Tom
