[...] The folks over at Hyper9 are still looking for qualified companies to participate in their private beta program of their soon to be released search based virtual infrastructure management tool. Check out my previous post about the tool’s great features and to see some screen shots of it in action. [...]

Hello, can you set me up with a beta invite. I'd like to take a look at this software. I keep getting the email's from them and I'm finally getting around to researching the product.

thanks.

I've turned in all the email addresses to Hyper9. If you left a comment here on this post, you should be contacted shortly with your beta information. Have fun!

Re: Server Requirements

The Hyper9 Pre-Installation Checklist calls for Windows Server 2003 (32 bit, any edition) with Service Pack 2.

IIS used to be a requirement in previous versions, however, the latest beta runs on Tomcat, Anything that is listening on port 80 will conflict by default and must not be installed, or, a port other than 80 must be used. During the installation of Hyper9, a non-default port for Tomcat can be specified.

.NET 3.5 is required. SP1 is not supported.

MS Windows Script Host Enabled

MS IE 6, 7, Firevix 2, 3, or Apple Safari 3 browsers supported.

1024x768 minimum display capability on the client running the browser.
