VAC Partner Support
Good to see the VMware Partner support program growing. As a VAC or Premier Partner you now are entitled to 10 support incidents a year. You have to call their support line just like your customers, but I was told you will be forwarded immediately to an engineer and will not have to work through 1rst line support once you are determined to be a qualifying partner.
To use your incidents you must obtain a Support ID Code. The datasheet I was given says to email partner_support_program@vmware.com and provide the following info:
- Co name
- Partner ID
- Contact
- Contact phone
- Contact email (must contain company domain name)
- description of request
A Support ID code is supposed to be emailed back to you within 48 hrs.
